Executive, Logistics (Warehouse Management)

Reporting to Manager, Logistics, this position will manage warehouse service providers and truckers to drive Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) compliance and achieve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets. The candidate will also conduct investigation to address logistics quality issues and implement projects to seek improvements in areas of workplace safety, process productivity and cost reduction.

Responsibilities:

• Manage outsourced warehouse service providers and truckers on a daily basis
• Resolve operational issues with warehouse service providers, truckers and internal stakeholders
• Prepare and upkeep SOPs and Work Instructions
• Plan daily transfers from manufacturing plant to external warehouses
• Investigate customer complaints to identify root cause and implement action plans
• Lead implementation of assigned projects and suggest quality improvement initiatives
• Conduct KPI review meetings with warehouse service providers and truckers
• Provide guidance to warehouse service providers and truckers and ensure they meet KPI targets
• Conduct scheduled audits on warehouse service providers and implement improvement plans
• Perform monthly stock reconciliation, prepare reports on cargo damage / loss, etc.
• Process invoices in a timely manner, and resolve billing disputes with external service providers
• Conduct physical stock takes, perform stock reconciliation and prepare stock take reports
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights to support business improvement

Requirements:

• Diploma in Logistics or Engineering related discipline with at least 3 years of experience in handling warehousing and trucking operations for resin products
• Candidate with logistics experience in a chemical manufacturing plant preferred
• Knowledge in Warehouse Management System and inventory management practices
• Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work independently
• Team player with good communication and presentation skills
• Proactive individual with good follow up skills
• Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel tools/ functions
• Willing to accept job rotation within Logistics Division
