Facility and Security Officer

Job Summary

The Facility and Security Officer will assist the Department Function in managing warehouse facilities and security. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Role and Responsibilities

Facility Management:

• To ensure all the maintenance tasks are being performed in accordance with the maintenance schedule.
• Maintain and update preventive measure schedules.
• To conduct regular inspections within the facility to ensure the facility is maintained and function properly.
• Coordinate and liaise with contractors for maintenance or repair works.
• To update and maintain the Facility Management documents.

Security:

• Conduct regular security risk assessments within the facility for improvement.
• Point of contact and liaise with outsourced security vendor for all security matters.
• Review and maintain the security management standard operating procedure.

Communication:

• Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Draft and distribute correspondence, memos, and notices.
• Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information.

Additional Duties:

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within facility management and security.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• 5 Days Workweek
• Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 6.00 pm, Friday 8.30 am to 5.30 pm
