Main tasks /Activities / Responsibilities

• Perform and record minor maintenance tasks, including greasing and fluid top-ups. Conduct routine checks and inspections. Ensure hook-lift mechanisms are in good working condition prior to deployment.
• Collect waste using open-top containers and compactor systems, ensure timely and efficient waste collection according to schedule.
• Drive a hooklift truck for bin deliveries and pick-ups in a safe, professional, and timely manner. To adher to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines and road safety guidelines.
• Operate the hooklift truck to empty and transfer bins on and off the trailer, and ensure waste collected are secured in their containment containers and there is no visible damage on the containers.
• Wash the truck and maintain cleanliness of the interior.
• Undertake laboring work as required to complete waste disposal jobs.

Job requirements (education, linguistic ability, professional experience, leadership qualities, soft skills etc.)

• Possession of Class 4/5 Licence.
• Obtaining the license of (GWC Licensing) Waste Collection Management is preferred.
• Prior experience in driving hooklift trucks is preferred.
• Familiarity with waste collection and disposal procedures
• Ability to perform minor maintenance tasks.
• Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safety.
• Physical fitness for labor-intensive tasks.
• Time management skills to adhere to schedules.
