Logistics Coordinator (NITEC/3yrsExp/West)

Responsibilites:

• Create daily schedules for collection and delivery routes, optimising efficiency and minimising delays.
• Address any issues that arise during collection or delivery promptly and effectively.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other expenses related to trips.
• Organise regular training/ toolbox sessions.
• Perform cross training for team members.
• Schedule regular maintenance for all vehicles in the fleet, including inspections, servicing, and repairs.
• Ensure that all team members complete required safety training courses.
• Monitor the performance of team members and provide feedback as needed.
• Collaborate with customer service and operations teams to ensure smooth coordination of collection and delivery activities.
• Approach problems with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Be prepared to step in and fulfill the duties of other fleet supervisors in their absence.
• Develop protocols for responding to emergencies such as accidents, breakdowns, or severe weather conditions.
• Lead investigations into incidents or accidents involving fleet vehicles.

Requirements:

• Min ITE holder/Diploma holder with at least 3 years of relevant working experience
• IT savvy (Words / Excel / Power Point) minimum
• Possess class 3 driving license
• Off on alternate Saturdays
• Independent, self-motivated with good coordination and communication skills
• Able to work in fast paced environment; Team oriented and dynamic
