Procurement Engineer / Manager / Manufacturing MNC / North

Our client is a Manufacturing MNC. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Procurement Engineer to join their Business Development team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the North.

Responsibilities

• Request quotes for mechanical and electro-mechanical commodities based on customer specifications or suggest alternatives.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, responsible for submitting component Bill of Materials.
• Implement cost reduction and alternate sourcing programs for new and existing projects.
• Manage supplier base, focusing on Quality, Delivery, Cost, and finalizing contracts.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to obtain First Article Approval.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Contribute to the company's risk management process in alignment with your role and responsibilities.
• Any ad-hoc duty as assigned

Requirement

• Min Diploma in Engineering
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, VLookup and SAP
• Experience in procurement in mechanical component such as sheet metal & machining
