Purchasing Executive (Ship Owner)

Responsibilities:

• Execute comprehensive procurement procedures, including initiating purchase requisitions, soliciting quotes, issuing purchase orders, and managing goods delivery in alignment with purchasing protocols.
• Engage in price negotiations and foster positive relationships with suppliers.
• Supervise the provisioning of food and freshwater to vessels.
• Accelerate order processing and track delivery progress.
• Implement inventory management and conduct stock audits for all supplied goods.
• Liaise with Superintendents and vessels regarding requisition matters.
• Collaborate closely with the Shipping department and company launch personnel in executing responsibilities.
• Fulfill other assigned duties as directed by the purchasing manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Purchasing, or Supply Chain with equivalent qualifications.
• 3 years purchasing experience in Marine or similar industry.
• Good interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
• Neat and meticulous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
