Regional Logistics Specialist #JTL

- Develop efficient and cost-effective transport providers in coordination with the global team (logistics and procurement).

- Independent control and supervision in a superior way of service providers according to the agreed KPI. Responsible for the definition of process adjustments and standardizations in alignment with other service providers as well as internal requirements. Responsible for ensuring the implementation of the adjustments; monitoring the performance of the service providers; initiating, monitoring and supporting actions in an appropriate manner necessary to deliver the agreed service.

- Conducting MBR with International freight forwarders with the focus on improving their performance and quality.

- Collaborating and managing control tower ensuring good management of service providers, hassle-free switching, enable multi-carrier management, utilizing adhoc rates from market and availability of quality information.

- Leading and/or supporting the regular global and/or regional tendering of logistics services by means of data collection, process documentation and conducting work-shops including the implementation of the selected partner.

- Run & Support Warehouse and transportation tendering

- Negotiation with service providers and their selection in cooperation with the central procurement department.

- Regional air and ocean freight rates benchmarking on a frequent basis.

- Initiative cost down cost activities for warehousing and transport costs in particular for airfreight. Conducts sustainably initiates / projects with the aim to reduce carbon footprint

- Analyzes current logistics setup on AP; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain / Logistics and profitability for the company.

Requirements

- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management

- Proficient in SAP Logistic Execution especially SD & MM module
