Technical Superintendent (Offshore)

Role:

• Oversee vessel operational expenses, including repairs, maintenance, and survey/certification requirements.
• Ensure vessels are fully fit and seaworthy for trading.
• Ensure vessels comply with class, statutory requirements, regulations, and charterer/client requirements.
• Prepare yearly budget requirements for each vessel, seek approvals, and make revisions.
• Monitor and manage vessel Planned Maintenance with Chief Engineers and Chief Officers.
• Analyze technical matters and provide feedback.
• Conduct onboard technical reviews/vessel inspections every 6 months, report to management, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Contribute to QHSE matters in line with the Company’s policy.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the marine industry with exposure to technical superintendent tasks.
• Diploma/Degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably experience in the Offshore Support Vessel Industry.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel and visit ships in the Southeast East Asia (SEA) Region.
