Transport Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and deploy drivers' daily jobs based on delivery priorities .
• Ensure safe, efficient and reliable services are provided at all time
• Responsible for route analysis to optimize delivery successful rate and efficiency in point to point delivery/collection.
• Process delivery documents and assign delivery order to respective drivers.
• Track driver movement and ensure most efficient re-deployment of drivers.
• Track and monitor driver delivery status.
• Maintain good relationship with customers and co-ordinate closely with drivers to ensure smooth transportation.
• Liaise with customers on the delivery fulfilment.
• Coordinate and mobilize relevant vendors and internal staffs to resolve hiccups & urgent requests in service (eg. unexpected events of traffic jam, tyre puncture, accidents etc.
• Conduct investigation for any discrepancy, driver accidents and customer complaints .
• Follow up with all trucks maintenance.
• Coordinate with warehouse team on containers(un)stuffing activities.
• Reporting vehicle issues to Manager.
• Ad hoc site visit on new project assessment

Requirements

• GCE "O' Level or equivalent.
• Min 2 years of working experience as a Transport Supervisor
• Must have Class 3 Licence .
• Experienced in handling office system furniture installations will be an advantage.
• Clear minded & adaptable to changing needs.
• Orderly in terms of administrative work.
• Detail-oriented, organised and able to prioritise tasks.
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-moving environment.
• Able to deal with a broad range of challenges.
• Strong sense of commitment & urgency to meet tight deadlines.
• Good intra-personal + communication skills.
• Lively, energetic individual with a friendly disposition.
• Able to accept varying working hours due to job needs.
