Responsibilities
• Identify, evaluate, and select vendors for container terminal and port marine services procurement • Conduct total cost analysis, monitoring rebates/discounts, and preparing volume and trend reports • Engage in budgeting activities to optimize costs • Analyze business performance to provide meaningful information for effective decision-making, ensuring optimum business outcomes • Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to agency performance in procurement matters • Collaborate with agencies to achieve and enhance KPI targets • Engage proactively with vendors and agencies, addressing issues and finding resolutions collaboratively • Manage vendor agreements and stakeholder relationships, including coordination with operations, marine insurance, legal, trade, and network teams • Conduct thorough contract reviews • Actively participate in assigned projects, contributing to project goals and preparing presentation materials
Requirements
• Minimum in Maritime Studies or equivalent • At least 2 years of purchasing and procurement experience • Handling Container terminal and port marine services procurement will be an advantage
