Warehouse Manager

• Oversees the orderly and timely execution of all warehouse activities and constantly working or taking lead on continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide direction and management for the day-to-day warehousing activities
• Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
• Work closely with external vendors or related 3rd parties on any related services, activities or service performed to ensure operation are in order or achieve the required performance and result.
• Implement cost-efficiency processes and reduce cost in warehouse operations
• Ensure continuous improvement of the warehouse functions and activities
• Strong leadership and able to motivate, organize and encourage teamwork to maximize productivity and targets are met or exceeded
• Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, gate processes, and shipping methods
• Ensure operations comply with law and regulatory requirements
• Instigate, drive, measure and report on processes and initiatives as required in support of the core warehousing and logistics metrics
• Hands-on duties in the warehouse

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ of experience working in logistics and warehouse operations
• Good written and communication skills
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
