Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturer – Dairy Products
• Position Title: Assistant Maintenance and Facility Engineer
• Working Location: West – Pioneer, Tuas
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon to Fri: 8:00am – 5.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic + Performance Bonus + OT payable (hours off in lieu)
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Attend to equipment breakdowns promptly and perform repair works to reduce downtime.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance, including inspection, cleaning, lubrication, alignment checks, parts replacement, and testing.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment such as pumps, bearings, valves, pipes, conveyors, seals, couplings, and actuators.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical and control system issues, including motors, sensors, relays, VFDs/inverters, control panels, wiring, and basic PLC I/O faults.
• Support equipment installation and commissioning, including mechanical assembly, alignment, piping, cable termination, testing, dry runs, and production trials.
• Perform basic calibration and verification for weighing systems, sensors, temperature probes, pressure gauges, and safety interlocks where required.
• Conduct safety checks before and after servicing to ensure equipment guarding, emergency stops, interlocks, earthing, and LOTO procedures are followed.
• Prepare service reports, fault findings, spare parts records, root cause analysis, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
• Able to work on weekends and night shifts when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Relevant experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair works will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
