Assistant Service Engineer/Technician

We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Assistant Service Engineer to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware equipments. The role involves field service, customer support, and technical assistance to ensure smooth functioning of equipment.


Job Description
-Assist in the installation, configuration, and testing of hardware/software at customer sites.

-Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.

-Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues.

-Support senior engineers in service calls, repairs, and customer training.

-Document all service activities, including service reports and technical issues.

-Provide technical support via phone, email or on-site visits.

-Maintain tools, parts, and inventory.

-Coordinate with Operations teams for timely service delivery.

-Follow safety and operational procedures during all field activities.


Qualifications/Requirements
-Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/IT/Computer Engineering

-Minimum 1 year of experience in technical support or field service

-Exposure to Card printers, ATM, VTM or similar products is an advantage.

-Must possess strong problem-solving skills.

-Must possess adequate interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

-Must possess adequate written and verbal communication skills in English.
