Job Description & Requirements

Maintenance and Repair

1) Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on a wide range of mechanical equipment critical to the electroplating process, including:

• Pumps (centrifugal, diaphragm, metering, etc.)
• Filtration systems and media
• Agitation systems and gearboxes
• Heat exchangers and tank heaters
• Ventilation and exhaust systems (fans, scrubbers, ductwork)
• Material handling systems(conveyors, overhead cranes, hoists)

2) Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical failures, identifying root causesto prevent recurrence.

3) Execute repairs, overhauls, and installations of machinery components with precision and adherence to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

4) Perform routine and emergency welding, pipefitting, and fabrication tasks, often with materials resistant to corrosive chemicals (e.g., PP, PVC, CPVC, stainless steel).

Operational Support and Improvement

1) Assist in the development and continuous improvement of Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

2) Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used accurately in the Computerized Maintenance Management System(CMMS).

3) Collaborate with engineering and production teams on equipment upgrades, modifications, and capital projects.

4) Mentor and train junior maintenance technicians on best practices, safety procedures, and specific equipment repair techniques. Safety and Compliance

5) Adhere strictly to all company Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS)policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) confined space entry, and working at heights.

6) Ensure all equipment and maintenance activities comply with local and federal regulations and industry standards.

7) Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.


Working Conditions

• This role is based in an industrial environment and may involve exposure to chemicals, noise, and varying temperature conditions.
• Must be physically capable of lifting loads of up to 40kg, climbing ladders, and working in confined or elevated spaces.
• May be required to work shifts or be on-call to support 24/7 production operations.
  
  What We’re Looking For
• Expertise in barrel, pump and piping system maintenance, including knowledge of corrosion-resistant materials and sealing mechanisms
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or mechatronic engineering

• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, time effectively, and lead by example.
