Pest Control Manager and Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a pest control manager and technician. We are a small company, so the role you will have in this company will have a broader scope than in established pest control companies with hundreds of employees. This is not a role where you will only be doing one type of pest control, you will instead have the opportunity to work across many service and customer types.

Whether you decide to apply for this role should be based on whether you see yourself enjoying a role which requires you to have a self-driven desire to take care of customers and work alongside management to scale our pest control division with a hands-on approach.

Candidates must have a valid NEA Vector Control Technician Licence and at least 1 year of relevant experience. A company vehicle is provided and may be driven home.

You do not need management experience to apply and be considered, all you need other than knowledge in pest control and our basic requirements is an attitude and vision for yourself that is compatible with our company culture and goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to carry out vector control and pest treatment services.

• Conduct inspections, identify pest/vector issues, and determine appropriate treatment methods.

• Apply chemicals and perform treatments safely in line with NEA guidelines.

• Communicate clearly with customers about the treatment process and aftercare.

• Maintain accurate service reports, job documentation, and records.

• Ensure equipment, tools, and company vehicle are well-maintained.

• Follow safety protocols and proper handling of chemicals at all times.

• Assist with operational tasks and perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Valid NEA Vector Control Technician Licence.

• Class 3/3A driving licence - company vehicle provided. (If you do not have this, a 2B/2A/2 riding licence may be considered)

• Minimum 1 year of experience in pest control.

• Comfortable with outdoor, hands-on fieldwork.

• Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently.

• Able to communicate professionally with customers.
