Responsibilities:
- Perform repair maintenance, troubleshooting or modification of engine parts in the workshop.
- Perform cross-functional jobs in the repair operations process with a focus in Painting, Sheetmetal and Plasma Spray.
- Participate in production linearity projects and setup, housekeeping and other workshop activities as instructed by the supervisor.
- Upkeep & maintain all operational tooling and fixtures.
- Perform various painting and bench repair works such as masking, blending, inserts & broken studs removal/replacement per technical manuals.
- Interpret rework dimensions & understand the requirements from technical blue – prints.
- Inspect work using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
- Assist line supervisor in their daily operations to achieve production targets, corporate goals and discipline.
- Actively support and participate in EH&S, Quality, Ethics and Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives.
- Perform various other duties as assigned by Cell IC/Workshop Engineer/Manager.
Requirements
- NITEC or Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or any other related engineering discipline.
- 2 years of relevant experience in either paint shop and Sheetmetal is essential.
- Experience in repair in the aerospace industry is a plus.
- Self-motivated to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management.
- Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Commit to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime on need basis.
