RMA Technician

The main responsibility of the RMA Technician/Coordinator is to be the liaison among departments, quality control,engineering, materials, warehouse, and manufacturing to achieve the followingduties and responsibilities below.

KEY DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

·       Responsible for handling customer RMA problems both internally and externally.

·       Handlingall returns of defective parts, exchanges, late or lost deliveries, invoicingerrors, repairs, missing items, parts damaged during transit, address changes,credits, problems with customs etc.

·       Document/Inspect/testall the return items (Racks/ Boxes/cables/harness).  

·       Coordinatewith other departments to ensure the RMA close and products are repaired perspecs.

·       Performprelim analysis for cables/harness and coordinate with other departments tocomplete the failure analysis.

·       Manage RMA inventory using the RMA report.

·       Reduce the TAT of RMA.

·       Coordinates activities with customer service, quoting, materials, quality control,manufacturing, and shipping to ensure all returned material is received,identified, analyzed, troubleshoot, repaired, and returned to the customer inan effective and timely manner.

·       Coordinatesinitial identification and receipt of the customer returns with customerservice.

·       Conductsfailure analysis and corrective action of returned material and report findingsto QA Manager.

·       Coordinates,monitors, and maintains customer returned materials, repairs or upgrades.

·       Coordinatesor conducts Material Review Board (MRB) monthly or as necessary.

·       Tracksand reports RMA status, Open RMA Trend

·       Otherduties and responsibilities assigned by the QA Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

·      3-5 years related experience inQA/RMA/DMR/Corrective Action

·      1-2 years related experience inelectronics troubleshooting

·      Knowledge in ISO or Quality ManagementSystem

·      Knowledge of ERP system (Syspro) andMicrosoft office.

·      Able to train and communicate qualityrequirements, guidelines, and possible quality issues.

·      Understanding of Close Loop Correctiveand Preventive Action processes

·      Able to read and understandelectro-mechanical drawings.

·      Able to analyze data and provide daily,weekly, or monthly reports.

·      Able to multi-task, prioritize andorganize job tasks and work without constant supervision

·      Attention to detail

·      Work in a team-environment andeffectively communicate with other functions
