Service Technician

Technician / Senior Technician

JobFunctions:

·       Carryout general mechanical repairs and maintenance jobs onboard vessels or in workshops

·       Dismantle and troubleshoot for mechanical defects

·       Perform repair and /or replacement of mechanical spare parts

·       Provide servicing that includes installation, training, troubleshooting and repair of vessels.

·       Perform alignment checks and reassemble the mechanical parts

·       Perform testing of equipment to ensure smooth operation

·       Perform test run and report to superior on the job completion status

·       Responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining and providing application support on power protection equipment at customers’ sites, both local and regionally

·       Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure that the systems are working efficiently and safely

·       Provide technical advice and customer service solutions, and to train customers on the features of the equipment

·       Dealing with Ship Manoeuvring Systems

·       Complete Main Engine & Auxillary Engine Works

·       COP Works, Cooler Works, Hydraulic Repairs

·       Another ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

·       Possess NTC or Higher NTC in Mechanical or Marine related field

·       Possess experience in Marine Industry

·       Familiarity with Marine rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards preferred

·       Possess effective communication skills

·       Able to work in a team or independently

·       Willingto work under outdoor environment on site

·       Preferably staying in the East area
