Assemblers - NEA N3 Licensed Laser Assembly

• Assemble, align, calibrate, and test high-power (such as optical sub-assemblies, beam expanders, and industrial laser cutting/welding heads).
• Read shop drawings and wiring diagrams
• Read Bills of Materials (BOMs) to determine component parts and assembly sequences of
• electromechanical units
• Make electrical connections according to specifications
• Assemble parts, and position, align, and fasten assemblies, subassemblies, using hand
• tools and power tools.
• Modify parts by drilling, tapping, countersinking, etc. machine tools, power and pneumatic hand tools.
• Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.
• Measure parts to determine tolerances, using tape measures and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
• Attach labels and mark identifying information on parts.
• Adhere to all company policies, guidelines and practices including the SECRIT values.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Tool selection — determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
• Oral Comprehension – The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
• Ability to operate cordless hand tools, power tools and pneumatic tools.
• Ability to read shop drawings and wiring diagrams preferred.
• Ability to read standard tape measure.
• Ability to work in a cohesive team environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• O Level/A Level/ ITE or High School Diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience in manufacturing preferred
