Assembly Operator

Job Responsibilities

1. Assemble chassis and hard drives.
2. Assemble server racks and cabinets.
3. Perform server assembly tasks on the production line.
4. Perform but not limited to unpacking, packaging, rack build.
5. Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards within the work area to ensure cleanliness and organised.
6. Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements

1. 1-2 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a related environment.
2. Secondary school, technical institute, vocational certification, or equivalent qualification preferred.
3. Ability to use hand tools such as screwdrivers and assembly equipment.
4. Basic computer literacy for data entry, production recording, or system transactions.
5. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive assembly tasks.
6. Ability to safely handle, lift, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs as part of job duties.
7. Ability to communicate effectively in English, as English is the working language used for work instructions, safety procedures, documentation, and team communication.
8. Ability to communicate in Mandarin/Chinese would be advantageous for liaising with Mandarin-speaking colleagues, suppliers, or customers where required.
9. Comfortable working rotating shifts, permanent night shifts, or other work schedules as required by operational needs.
