Assistant Manager (Quality & Sustainability)/North Area Manufacturing/$6000 max

Job Duties

Sustainability Program Support

·      Assist in implementing and monitoring company sustainability goals and KPIs(e.g., energy usage, waste reduction, carbon footprint…etc.).

·      Coordinate data collection for environmental performance tracking and sustainability reporting.

·      Support audits and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001,SMETA).

·      Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers on sustainable sourcing, packaging, and waste management.

·      Prepare sustainability reports and communications for internal/external stakeholders.

Quality System Support

·      Support the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), including ISO 9001 compliance.

·      Conduct regular internal audits, process checks, and supplier quality assessments.

·      Investigate quality issues, support root cause analysis, and follow up on corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

·      Help prepare and review quality documentation (SOPs, work instructions, inspection reports).

Safety (EHS) Program Support

·      Assist in implementing and maintaining the company’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) systems, aligned with ISO 45001 and local regulations (e.g., MOM,SCDF).

·      Support incident reporting and investigation, and follow-up on corrective actions.

·      Ensure effective toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and contractor permit-to-work reviews are conducted

·      Track and review safety inspections, near-miss reports, and riskassessments

·      Assist in compiling EHS KPIs and monthly reports and per requested

Compliance & Risk Management

·      Ensure compliance with local and international environmental, safety, and quality regulations.

·      Assist in risk assessments related to product quality and environmental impact.

·      Track non-conformance issues and support resolution in coordination with relevant teams.

Training & Engagement

·      Coordinate or assist in training sessions for quality and sustainability awareness.

·      Promote employee engagement in green, health and safety initiatives

Reporting & Data Analysis

·      Compile, analyze, and present quality and sustainability performance data.

·      Maintain documentation and dashboards to support audits and management reviews.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quality Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Quality, Sustainability, EHS or Compliance.
• Familiar with ISO management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and/or ISO 50001.
• Experience in conducting internal audits, quality inspections and supporting certification audits.
• Knowledge of quality improvement tools, CAPA and root cause analysis.
• Good understanding of workplace safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection, reporting and KPI monitoring.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Meticulous, proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team.
