CARPENTER SUPERVISOR

Job Summary

Lead and supervise a team of carpenters to deliver quality work aligned with design specifications and project timelines. Collaborate with project managers and contractors to ensure efficient workflow and resolve technical issues through practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of carpenters on-site to complete work according to design specifications and project deadlines
• Coordinate workflow with project managers and contractors to maintain smooth operations
• Conduct quality inspections on carpentry work to ensure compliance with safety and design standards
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to provide practical solutions for construction challenges
• Monitor and manage material usage and ensure proper handling and maintenance of tools and equipment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools to support quality craftsmanship
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints for accurate execution
• Effective communication and leadership skills to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills and responsibility to manage time and resources efficiently
