Class 4 driver

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class 4 vehicles (e.g. lorries, trucks) to transport industrial goods safely and efficiently
• Ensure timely delivery and collection of materials to/from customer sites, warehouses, or ports
• Load and unload goods (may involve physical handling or use of equipment)
• Plan delivery routes and follow schedules
• Conduct basic vehicle checks (fuel, tyres, engine condition) before and after trips
• Maintain delivery records, invoices, and documentation
• Adhere to traffic laws and workplace safety regulations
• Coordinate with warehouse staff and logistics team

Requirements

• Valid Singapore Class 4 driving licence
• Clean driving record with good safety habits
• Familiarity with Singapore roads and delivery routes
• Physically fit (able to handle loading/unloading)
• Basic communication skills (English preferred)
• Prior experience in logistics, delivery, or industrial supplies is an advantage

Working Conditions

• May require early mornings, long hours, or overtime
• Work involves outdoor and on-road conditions
• Possible trips to industrial areas, construction sites, or ports

Additional

• Knowledge of cargo handling and securing
• Experience with forklifts or cranes (bonus, not always required)
• Basic paperwork or inventory tracking
