Director

Solevanta Pte Ltd is seeking for an experienced general manager in wholesale management within the building supply, electronic parts and equipment industry. As a Director for the company, this position includes responsibility for all day-to-day operations of the business and perform related duties as assigned.

Based in Singapore, you will lead the effort of extensive and sustainable business expansion with designated markets. You must be able to work independently to manage the import and export business of various technologies. For example: Electrical equipment, power hardware, generators, hardware machinery, coating equipment etc.

You will lead the effort for extensive and sustainable business expansion within designated markets but not limited to:

• Formulating and executing comprehensive long-term business strategy and marketing plan for designated markets
• Managing business and sales management to propel sales growth and augment profitability, with responsibility for Profit & Loss
• Engaging in negotiations with strategic partners and international suppliers to cultivate ongoing business collaborations
• Deriving pricing strategies in accordance with the company’s management strategies and insights, develop programs and procedures to increase sales and distribution capacity
• Reviewing cost quality and inventory programs to maintain profitable operations of the company in support of both the electronic trades and the retail consumer
• Establishing operations procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and the management of the inventory

Experience Requirements

• At least 10-15 years’ experience in wholesale and manufacturing of electronic/electrical machinery for the building, hardware and electronic equipment industry
• Has hands on entrepreneurial experience setting up companies or managed distributorship in the Asian region; namely, China and Hongkong
• Knowledge of finance, economics, accounting or other related management experience plus minimum of 5 years supervisory/management experience
• Has the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies or members of the business community
