Job Summary

You will manage and coordinate financial reporting activities to ensure timely, accurate, and standardized reports aligned with Group policies. Drive process improvements and support system enhancements to optimize reporting efficiency across multiple entities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate monthly management reports and financial reporting packages to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Manage timely monthly closing and preparation of financial statements in compliance with Group policies and procedures
• Review reporting schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to verify accuracy and completeness
• Monitor reporting timelines and proactively follow up with entities to ensure on-time submission of deliverables
• Oversee Sales Cube reporting to maintain accuracy and completeness of sales data
• Handle ad-hoc reporting assignments and respond to management requests promptly
• Prepare forecasts, annual budget reports, and Capex reports, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all Capex-related matters
• Support management with reporting analysis and maintain reporting schedules for budgeting and forecasting
• Review quarterly GST returns and related schedules to ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Liaise with tax agents to provide necessary information for statutory tax filings
• Coordinate with external auditors during interim and year-end audits and other specific audit assignments
• Ensure adherence to internal reporting controls and maintain proper documentation
• Lead initiatives to improve and standardize reporting processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy
• Drive automation efforts within reporting processes to increase operational efficiency
• Support ERP and reporting system implementation or enhancement projects, including SAP-related initiatives
• Maintain accuracy, integrity, and proper maintenance of reporting data to support reliable financial insights

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• Professional accounting qualification such as CA or ACCA
• Minimum 5 years of accounting and finance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP ERP
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
• Effective communication skills with senior business partners
• Excellent business judgment, analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Strong coordination skills with attention to detail
