Furniture Upholsterer

Job Description

• Upholster sofas, chairs and other furniture using fabric, leather and synthetic materials.
• Measure, cut and fit upholstery materials according to design specifications.
• Install foam, padding, springs and cushioning materials.
• Repair, reupholster and restore damaged furniture.
• Inspect finished products to ensure workmanship and quality standards.
• Maintain upholstery tools, equipment and a clean work area.
• Work closely with the production team to complete orders on schedule.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Furniture Upholsterer.
• Skilled in sofa upholstery using fabric, leather and other upholstery materials.
• Able to measure, cut and fit materials accurately.
• Good knowledge of upholstery tools and furniture production processes.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Able to work independently and meet production deadlines.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and public holidays when required.
