Industrial Engineer (KAIZEN)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Department: IE (Industrial Engineering) Department

Reports to: Senior Engineer

Functional Relationships with: Coordinate withmanufacturing and IE Costing members for Kaizen activities planning andorganizing and management.

Position Profile:
Based in: Yishun

Successful candidate will: Collaborate and participate in cost analysis, time study orproductivity tracking to devise systems integrate Man, Machine, Material, andoptimize operations and reduce waste.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

·      Conduct detailed process analysis on workflow, layout, resources and productivity to identify inefficiencies.

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, insights and ideas for improvement and participate in cost reduction management.

·      Study or review the proposals and utilizing IT tools to automate the process and reduce time spend and build simulation models for system optimization.

·      Support in facilitation or organizing factory small group activities and layout projects.

Ability / Competency Required

·      Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or any other relevant field.

·      Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

·      Strong interpersonal skills, analytical, with a flair for numbers.

·      Good communication and presentation skills.

·      Able to work well as a team player while being independent and pro-active.

·      Positive attitude in challenging work environment.

·      Ability to perform multi-tasking.
