Are you a hands-on food manufacturing professional who enjoys operating production equipment, planning daily production schedules and leading a small team?

We're looking for a Lead Production Technician to support daily manufacturing operations, ensure food quality, maintain food safety standards and supervise a team of 2 Production Operators.

Key Responsibilities

📅 Production Planning & Scheduling

• Plan and coordinate daily production schedules to meet customer orders and production targets.

• Ensure production activities are completed efficiently and according to schedule.

⚙️ Production Operations

• Operate production equipment to manufacture food products.

• Perform daily food production processes according to established procedures.

• Operate, monitor and clean production line equipment.

• Troubleshoot minor production and machine issues to minimise downtime.

✅ Quality & Food Safety

• Ensure strict compliance with SOPs, food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements.

• Perform quality inspections, product testing and labelling of finished goods.

• Collect and analyse production data to ensure product quality and consistency.

• Complete Critical Control Point (CCP) documentation, including temperature, time and safety checks.

👥 Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement

• Lead and supervise 2 Production Operators to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Train and coach team members on SOPs, food safety and operational best practices.

• Work closely with Production, QA and other departments to achieve production targets.

• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality and operational efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with all company policies, food safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

✔ Experience in Food Manufacturing or Food Production

✔ Experience planning and scheduling daily production activities

✔ Hands-on experience operating production machinery

✔ Knowledge of food manufacturing processes

✔ Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000 and/or ISO Food Safety Standards

✔ Able to troubleshoot minor machine or production issues

✔ Good communication and teamwork skills

✔ Positive attitude with a hands-on approach to work
