Job Summary
The Logistics and Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics planning, and distribution activities to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods. The role involves managing warehouse personnel, maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing storage space, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
Plan and coordinate delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
Develop and implement warehouse procedures and operational improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Supervise warehouse and logistics staff, including scheduling, training, performance monitoring, and team development.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety, food safety, and company regulations.
Coordinate with production, procurement, sales, and transport providers to support business operations.
Analyze logistics and warehouse performance metrics and prepare management reports.
Manage warehouse equipment and facilities, ensuring proper maintenance and operational readiness.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve logistics-related issues promptly.
Requirements
Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations, including supervisory responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
Experience with ERP, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software.
Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Familiarity with food manufacturing or FMCG operations.
Preferred Skills
Experience managing temperature-controlled or food-grade warehouse environments.
Knowledge of Singapore workplace safety and food hygiene requirements.
