Machine Engineer (Rationalization) (Yishun)

Department: Machine Engineering & Facility

Reports to: Manager

Functional Relationships with:
Production , Maintenance ,Quality & Engineering Team

 
Position Profile:

Based in: Singapore

Job Site: Yishun

The successful candidate will work as part of Machine Engineering to explore, evaluate &carry out machinery rationalization activities to improve manufacturing performance.

Key Duties& Responsibilities:

·      Responsible for improving Production processes through Automation Machines & Operation Technology.

·      Prepare machine/technology roadmap to fulfill Manufacturing Division’s goal.

·      Proposal based on Rationalization fundamentals& Design of equipment with Mechanical /Electrical control systems.

·      Enhance Project Management with Scheduling, Budget Control,  Coordination with Vendor& Reporting.

·      Preferably a trained engineer and is able to address technical queries that arise during the course of his duties.

·      Ensure activity compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, specifications and maintain process ISO system.

Ability/Competency Required:

·      Degree in Manufacturing Engineering /Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.

·      At least 2 years related working experience is preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

·      Good communication and presentation skills.

·      Able to work well as a team player while being independent and pro-active.

·      Positive attitude in challenging work environment.

·      A self starter who enjoys interacting with others.

·      Ability to work well in a team.
