MACHINE OPERATOR CUM TECHNICIAN

Job Description

• Operate, set up, and monitor chocolate production and packaging machines.
• Perform machine start-up, changeovers, adjustments, and shutdown procedures.
• Troubleshoot machine faults and carry out minor repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and assist with major maintenance when required.
• Ensure machines operate safely and efficiently to meet production targets.
• Inspect products and equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain production records, machine logs, and maintenance reports.
• Clean and sanitize machinery and work areas in accordance with food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and workplace safety regulations.

Job Requirements

• Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Experience operating or maintaining manufacturing or food-processing machinery is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety practices is an advantage.
• Able to read and follow technical drawings, machine manuals, and SOPs.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
• Physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
