Maintenance Engineer

Job Requirement:

1.     Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation / Mechanical /Chemical Engineering with min. 2 years relevant experience; OR

2.     Diploma in same disciplines with min. 5 years relevantexperience (chemical industry experience is an advantage)

3.     Basic to working knowledge of PLC, SCADA & HMIsystems, including ability to perform basic troubleshooting and fault diagnosis(plant operations are PLC-controlled)

4.     Basic understanding of electrical systems and/orinstrumentation

5.     LEW license is an added advantage

6.     Knowledge of Risk Assessment and FMEA

7.     Familiar with EHS requirements and ISO 14001 / 45001 /9001

8.     AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage

9.     Good written and spoken English

10.  Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Job Responsibilities

Primary tasks

·       Plan, coordinate and execute preventive maintenance,including IMTE / calibration of plant equipment

·       Plan and coordinate routine & ad-hoc maintenance forbuilding and utility systems

·       Perform hands-on maintenance and basic electrical /instrumentation troubleshooting

·       Carry out basic fault diagnosis and troubleshooting onPLC-controlled systems, SCADA and HMI

·       Support new equipment installation, upgrades, feasibilitystudy and planning

·       Liaise with and supervise contractors for maintenance andrepair works

·       Prepare technical documents, including approval papers,work instructions, training materials, and submissions to authorities

·       Support spare parts and inventory management (quotationsourcing, price negotiation, ordering)

·       Support TechnicalDepartment in EHS activities, including risk assessment and compliance withcompany and regulatory requirements

Job Conditions:

·    Assigned to Technical Department which isresponsible for company’s maintenance activities and EHS

·    Work at office onworking days. Monday to Friday,8.30am to 5.30pm.

·    Work outside officehours when required.

·    Permanent Position(Probation period: Minimum 3 months)
