Manager/Senior Manager, Procurement (Tuas)

Essential Responsibilities:-

·      To lead and drive the procurement function in theorganization.

·      To establish and develop the procurementframework and drive compliance among the users

·      To develop and enhance the supplier managementnetwork, strengthen and enhance the tendering process to ensure integrity andtransparency.

·      To work closely with the stakeholders to alignrequirements and increase user satisfaction in procured services and products.

·      To enhance the processes and automate functionsthrough digitalization, leveraging on E-commerce platforms and othertechnological tools

·      To drive sayings and manage procurement spendfor critical spares and consumables

·      To build and develop capabilities for theprocurement team

Requirement

·      Diploma or Degree in Engineering field(Preferred Electrical or Mechanical)

·      Have at least 5 - 10 years experience insourcing of key materials/services procurement in manufacturing/equipmentsupply business.

·      At least 3 to 5 years in management role.

·      Effective communication skills to find outbusiness user requirements and match it to suppliers offerings, negotiate withgood analysis and commercial acumen

·      Ability to use software in data analysis fordecision making.

·      Strong knowledge in contracting and goodunderstanding of procurement best practices

·      Experienced in dealing with Chinese suppliersand wide exposure to the supplier network and practices in China and East Asia

·      Management skills in leading procurement teamsand negotiation

·      Ability to work independently and patience withusers to get their business requirements and get the right suppliers to supply.

·      Touse software to analyse spend and costs to achieve savings to reduce costs;find ways to improve value in sourcing.
