Manufacturing Engineer

1. Design and develop manufacturing processes and systems to meet production requirements and quality standards.
2. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction through the implementation of innovative technologies and methodologies.
3. Collaborate with design engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of product designs and provide input for design optimization.
4. Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
5. Support the selection and implementation of new equipment, tools, and technologies to enhance production efficiency and capacity.
6. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address production issues, minimize downtime, and prevent recurrence.
7. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new manufacturing processes or product introductions.
8. Provide technical support and training to production personnel to ensure adherence to established procedures and best practices.
9. Monitor and analyse production metrics and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and track progress against operational goals.
10. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and safety protocols in all manufacturing activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in manufacturing engineering roles, preferably in a relevant in assembly industry
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, techniques, and principles, including lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools for process design and optimization.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards) and continuous improvement methodologies.
