Personal Driver

Job Summary

The Personal driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and professional transportation services to the assigned Principal and authorised family members or guests. The role requires a high level of integrity, discretion, flexibility, and commitment to ensuring the Principal's daily transportation needs are met efficiently. The Driver will also assist with personal and business-related errands, maintain the assigned vehicle in excellent condition, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Transportation – Provide safe, punctual, and comfortable transportation for the Principal, authorised family members, and designated guests. Drive the Principal to business meetings, appointments, social functions, airport transfers, and other destinations as required. Remain on standby during appointments and be readily available when needed. Plan efficient travel routes, taking into account traffic conditions, weather, and schedule changes. Exercise defensive driving techniques and comply with all Singapore traffic laws and regulations.

• Personal & Business Errands – Carry out personal and business-related errands on behalf of the Principal, including banking, shopping, document collection and delivery, courier services, and other administrative tasks. Assist with the collection and delivery of confidential documents or personal items. Support ad hoc assignments as instructed by the Principal.

• Vehicle Management – Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, fuelled, well-maintained, and presented in excellent condition at all times. Perform routine vehicle inspections, including checking tyre pressure, engine oil, coolant, brakes, lights, and other essential components. Arrange and coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, inspections, insurance renewals, and road tax renewals as required. Maintain accurate records of vehicle servicing, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance expenses.

• Confidentiality & Professionalism – Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the Principal's personal affairs, business matters, schedules, conversations, and travel plans. Conduct oneself with professionalism, courtesy, and discretion at all times. Present a neat and professional appearance while on duty.

• General Support – Assist the Principal with luggage, parcels, and other personal belongings when required. Be flexible to work beyond normal office hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, depending on the Principal's schedule. Perform any other duties or responsibilities reasonably assigned by the Principal.

Job Requirements

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 or Class 3A Driving Licence with a clean driving record.

• Minimum 5 years of professional driving experience, preferably as a personal, executive, or chauffeur driver. Excellent knowledge of Singapore roads, traffic conditions, and navigation systems.

• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.

• High level of integrity, discretion, and trustworthiness.

• Able to maintain strict confidentiality at all times.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Physically fit and able to assist with light lifting when necessary.

• Willing to work flexible hours and be available outside regular office hours when required.

• Experience supporting senior executives or business owners.

• Familiarity with luxury or premium vehicles.

• Basic knowledge of vehicle troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

• First Aid certification is an advantage.

Working Conditions: Based in Singapore with frequent travel across the island. Flexible working hours based on the Principal's schedule. Overtime, weekend, evening, and public holiday work may be required in accordance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.
