Production Executive

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing daily production operationsto ensure efficiency, product quality, workplace safety, regulatory compliance,environmental sustainability, and continuous improvement. The role alsosupports production planning, waste management, vendor and customercoordination, costing activities, and ISO system compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1.      Oversee daily production operations to ensure productivity, efficiency, and quality output

2.      Supervise, guide, and motivate production personnel to achieve departmental objectives

3.      Support manpower planning, staff deployment, training, and competency development

4.      Plan and coordinate production schedules based on operational requirements

5.      Monitor production processes and implement process improvements where necessary

6.      Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health, and environmental regulations

7.      Lead and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for production-related issues

8.      Coordinate closely with Quality Control, Warehouse, Sales, customers, and vendors

9.      Conduct daily toolbox meetings and weekly coordination meetings

10.  Support OEM customer requirements and prepare costing proposals for toll blending services

11.  Prepare costing and cost statement updates for products when required

12.  Ensure accurate SAP transactions, production documentation, and reporting

13.  Coordinate maintenance, repair, and servicing of production equipment

14.  Manage production waste handling, storage, disposal, and documentation in accordance with environmental regulations

15.  Liaise with licensed waste collectors and relevant authorities for proper waste disposal

16.  Prepare and submit regulatory reports and applications, including:

·         Annual Mandatory Packaging Report to NEA

·         Written Approval applications for trade effluent discharge

17.  Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems

18.  Assist with production planning and related documentation as required

19.  Perform other duties assigned by Management
