Job Description:
1. Production Execution: Implement production schedules, allocate manpower and equipment resources effectively, ensure timely completion of production tasks, and continuously improve production efficiency and first-pass yield.
2. Process Control & Exception Handling: Monitor production processes, guide employees in standardized operations, enforce self-inspection, mutual inspection, and specialized quality checks; promptly report, analyze, and rectify production abnormalities and quality issues to prevent nonconforming products from entering subsequent processes.
3. Shopfloor Management: Promote 6S management and production site standardization to ensure a clean, orderly, and safe workplace; support lean manufacturing initiatives by optimizing production layouts and management processes.
4. Team Management: Responsible for employee training, skill development, and daily performance management within the team; monitor employee work status, enforce labor discipline, and foster a high-performing and stable production team.
5. Daily Operations & Maintenance: Organize routine equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair activities to ensure stable equipment performance; implement safety management policies, conduct safety training and inspections, and eliminate potential hazards.
6. System Operation: Proficient in using MES, ERP, and related systems for production data entry, tracking, and reporting, supporting production decision-making and efficiency analysis.
Job Requirements:
1. Educational Background: Diploma in Mechanical, Electronics, Quality, or related disciplines preferred.
2. Work Experience: Over 3 years of production management experience in the electronics manufacturing industry.
3. Professional Skills: Familiar with electronic manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and basic lean manufacturing tools; proficient in Excel, Word, and production management systems such as MES and ERP.
4. Competencies:
• Team Management: Strong ability to organize, coordinate, and guide team members; able to communicate instructions effectively, handle exceptions, and maintain a high-efficiency production environment.
• Communication: Good bilingual (Chinese and English) communication skills, both written and spoken; adaptable to multicultural working environments and able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Compliance & Safety Awareness: Knowledge of Singapore’s workplace safety and hygiene; strong awareness of safety management and hands-on experience in implementing safety practices.
• Bonus Points: Proven experience in building operations from the ground up, or demonstrated capability in handling urgent “firefighting-level” situations.
