Our client is leading global manufacturing MNC that manufactures and design and produce custom water and air filtration solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial markets. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Production Supervisor (MNC)to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West.
The Production Supervisor (MNC) will be responsible for:
Planning, coordinating, and overseeing daily manufacturing operations to achieve production targets while ensuring quality, safety, productivity, and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will lead a team of production personnel and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support business objectives.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily manufacturing activities to achieve production schedules and operational targets.
Lead and supervise a team of technicians and production operators to deliver production output, quality, productivity, and cost objectives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence projects.
Support new product introduction activities by coordinating production readiness and cross-functional requirements.
Collaborate with management, internal stakeholders, and external manufacturing partners to monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure successful execution.
Develop, review, and maintain production documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and performance reports.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards and workplace health and safety policies by promoting hazard identification and preventive measures.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, with experience in a supervisory or production leadership role being advantageous.
Good understanding of manufacturing operations, production management principles, and quality management systems.
Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives is an advantage.
Experience preparing or maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and production performance reports is beneficial.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices within a manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience collaborating with regional or international teams and stakeholders is an advantage.
