Job Description

We are looking for responsible and hardworking Production Workers to support our daily manufacturing operations.

The successful candidates will assist in the production, assembly, packing, quality checking, and handling of customised window covering products, including motorised and manual shades.

Training will be provided. This role is suitable for candidates who are willing to learn, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working in a factory / production environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in daily production, assembly, processing, packing, and quality checking of window covering products.
2. Operate basic tools, machinery, and equipment according to company instructions and standard operating procedures.
3. Prepare, cut, assemble, pack, or handle materials and finished products according to production requirements.
4. Check materials, components, and finished goods to ensure product quality and consistency.
5. Assist in loading, unloading, moving, and arranging raw materials, components, and finished products.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production area.
7. Follow workplace safety rules and wear required personal protective equipment when necessary.
8. Report any product defects, material issues, machine problems, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
9. Support production schedules and assist the team to complete orders on time.
10. Perform other production-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

1. No formal qualification is required.
2. Prior production, factory, assembly, packing, or manufacturing experience will be an advantage, but not compulsory.
3. Training will be provided for candidates who are willing to learn.
4. Physically fit and able to perform standing, moving, carrying, and repetitive tasks during work.
5. Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
6. Responsible, punctual, hardworking, and willing to learn.
7. Able to work overtime when required, subject to company operational needs.
8. Able to understand basic work and safety instructions in English. Mandarin communication ability will be an advantage for coordination with Mandarin-speaking supervisors or team members.
9. Open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents.

Working Conditions

1. Factory / production environment.
2. May involve standing or moving for long periods.
3. May involve handling materials, tools, machinery, and finished products.
4. Personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety shoes, or masks will be provided where required.
5. Work schedule: 5.5 days per week.

Remuneration & Benefits

1. Basic salary: S$1,800 to S$2,000 per month.
2. Overtime pay will be provided in accordance with Singapore employment regulations, where applicable.
3. Annual leave and public holiday entitlement in accordance with Singapore employment regulations.
4. Attendance / productivity bonus may be provided, subject to company policy and performance.
5. Training will be provided.
