Program Manager, R&D

We’re looking to add a Manager, Program (R&D) in Singapore. The position is based in our HQ at AngMo Kio.

As a Manager, Program (R&D), you will:

• Work in a R&D environment, managing design and development of new products in working with customer to meet the milestones agreed.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and cross functional teams in Venture for program execution.
• Responsible to provide solutions that meet customer’s requirements on cost/schedule/quality.
• Interface with customer on RFQ, and to define scope of work together with key team members.
• Plan and manage program budget, resource and schedule.
• Lead RFQ quotation process and seek management approval.
• Lead a cross functional teams to execute the development program once business award.
• Lead cross functional teams and partners to deliver successful program from definition to mass production
• Organize, control and implementation of program execution as per plan.
• Identify key program risk and develop mitigation/contingency plan with the program team.
• Provide program progress report to customer and management.

• Work with NPI team to transfer design to manufacturing.

• Champion of Product Development Life Cycle Management and meeting ISO requirement.
• Participate in technology brain-storming forum or/and product road mapping.

Requirements

• Masters/Degree in Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical Engineering with minimum 8-10 years of experience in a program management capacity in either hardware or firmware/software development
• Experience in complex mechanism instrumentation/product development is desired.
• People management experience is preferred but not a requirement
• Working experience in a multinational and / or manufacturing environment would be preferred.
• Strong leadership qualities and initiative
• Mature with a global outlook in product development
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good team player and ability to rally the team to achievethe goals
• Overseas travel is/may be required
