QA/QC Assessor

Connect Energy partners with a marine manufacturing company to looking for an individual who is familiar with gauge room to take on this QA/QC role.

Responsibilities

• Check on all machine parts to make sure they are complianced according to drawing details and specifications.
• Ensuring all measuring test and equipment are calibrated to specifications
• Processing of inspection and non-conformance reports
• Responsible for traceability of parts inspected
• Perform hardness tests
• Perform first article inspection
• Set up mechanical gauge for dimensional inspection activites
• Perform inspection activities with third parties representatives

Requirements

• 5 years and above relevant experience.
• Ability to mentor other QC Inspectors and make daily decisions
• Inspection of critical component
• Qualified to perform premium thread inspections
• Ability to program CMM
• Ability to create reports using MS Word and Excel
• Ability to check standards against calibration equipment
• Knowledge of API requirements
