QUALITY CONTROL CHECKER / INSPECTOR

JOB DESCRIPTION

· Conversant with international codes and standards, including ISO standards.

. To carry out welding inspection before, during and after welding completion including material verification, welding control, fit up, dimensional control and visual inspection.

- Review of WPS/PQR and implementation of WPS requirements.

· Coordinate with customers' quality personnel / TPI for rfor all site inspection & preparation.

- To observe all relevant actions re;ated to weld quality throughout production.

- To record, or log all production inspection points, relevant to quality, including a final report showing all identified imperfections.

- To compare all recorded information with the acceptance criteria and any relevants clauses in the applied application standards.

· To attend and resolve all QA related matters

· Any other job concerning QAQC department assigned from the Senior Management/ General Managers.

JOB REQUIREMENT

· Minimum NITE in Quality Assurance and PCN 3.1 or 3.2 certified welding inspector / AWS CWI.

- Equiped with valid certification - MPI,UT, RT, PT etc

· Field of study: Project Quality Control by recognised bodies

· Minimum 5 years experience in project quality control activities involving steel structures and piping fabrications.

· Strong working experience in Oil & Gas Sector

· Proficient in English (speaking & writing) and computer skills
