QUALITY CONTROL EXECUTIVE

Job Responsibilities

1. Manage & supervise

• Planning QC weekly activities

• Manage, supervise and coordinate a team of QC inspectors

2. Non-conformity

• Handling customer complaints, raw material reject and internal non-conformity

• Monitor the effectiveness of Raw Material SCAR& internal MRR

• Generate QC Monthly Report & Effectiveness Summary Report

3. Customer complaint

• Liaise with respective departments &conduct investigation

• Generate CAR/ SCAR and launch complaint to relevant party

• Follow up CAR with Production/ Supplier &SCAR with Purchaser/ Supplier

• Generate Customer Complaint Weekly Report

4. Scrap form

• Compile and generate scrap form

• Submit & get approval from relevant party

5.  Conduct UN testing - Ad-hoc testing upon request by Customer/ Sales & Marketing

6.  Manufacturing Spec/ Raw Material Spec

• Update/revise spec every 2 months

7. COA

• Generate COA as per customer request

8. QC Testing

• Evaluation of new material-Environment test & WVTR test

• In-house calibration - Thickness & GC (monthly)

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Quality Management, Materials Science, Packaging Technology, or related field.
• Knowledge of flexible packaging materials (film, laminate, adhesive, printing) and/or metal packaging (cans, lids, metal components).
• Understanding of quality inspection methods, testing procedures, and defect identification.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management System and quality documentation.
