Regional Project Engineer [HVAC / ACMV / Cooling Systems] - WCAN

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Develop project schedules, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage end-to-end project execution from planning and installation to commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate and supervise vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality, timely delivery, and budget compliance.

2. Technical Management

• Review technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Oversee equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and system start-up.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, implementing corrective actions where necessary.

3. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and other safety documentation.

4. Stakeholder & Project Coordination

• Act as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams.
• Lead project meetings, monitor progress, and provide regular status updates.
• Prepare progress claims, variation orders, and project-related documentation.

5. Process Improvement

• Enhance project monitoring, reporting processes, and operational efficiency.
• Conduct operational and maintenance training for clients to ensure successful project handover

Qualifications:

• Minimum NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in project engineering within the mechanical, HVAC, M&E, or engineering industry.
• Hands-on experience in equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel for project scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
• Good knowledge of Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and industry standards.
• Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Able to manage multiple projects, adapt to changing priorities, and meet tight project deadlines.
