Regional Quality Manager Manufacturing

• Location: CBD, Shenton Way
• Salary: Up to $11,000
• This role requires to be outstation for 6 - 9 months at the start.

Responsibilities:

1. Quality Monitoring and Improvement:

• Deploy advanced monitoring systems to ensure top-notch product quality and optimize yield.
• Proactively identify areas for enhancement and develop strategies to boost overall product quality.

2. Addressing Abnormal Quality Issues:

• Spearhead initiatives to integrate and enhance abnormal quality issues within the manufacturing process.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions and preventive measures.

3. Enhancing Quality Control and Process Capability:

• Drive initiatives to refine internal quality control procedures and improve overall process capability.
• Implement industry best practices to streamline processes and maximize operational efficiency.

4. Improving Customer Satisfaction:

• Take the lead in addressing and enhancing customer-reported quality issues.
• Compile comprehensive reports for stakeholders outlining corrective actions and preventive measures.

5. Streamlining Quality Inspection Procedures:

• Devise and execute plans to optimize quality inspection processes.
• Identify opportunities for automation and technological advancements to enhance inspection efficiency.

6. Fostering Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

• Promote open communication and collaboration across departments.
• Coordinate with various teams to ensure a unified approach to quality management.

7. Personnel Management:

• Oversee personnel-related tasks, including assignments, coordination, attendance, and performance management.
• Develop and implement training programs to augment the team's skills and knowledge.

8. Supervising Deliverables:

• Take ownership of supervising timely task and project delivery.
• Ensure quality objectives are met within established timelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in quality management, with a focus on manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and standards including TS16949 and VDA 6.3.
• Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
• Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma) is a plus.
• Available to travel and be based at our factory sites (China) at least 6 months of the year.
