Research & Development Manager

Duties

*           Manage and direct the research and development programs to meet the company’s       requirements.

*           Responsible for developing and executing new product development, and works with the relevant operations team to bring these products to market.

*           Develop research programs incorporating current developments to improve existing      products and study the potential of new products.

*           Lead key projects with R & D to support business goals.

*           Manage and develop concepts, products and solutions by coordinating with relevant          business units.

*           Hire and train R & D personnel.

*           Manage project goals and priorities by collaborating with Sales & Marketing and Operations Teams,

*           Research, design, review and evaluate raw materials, processes and equipment.

*           Create and develop concepts, products and solutions by working with company business units.

*           Ensure that all research and development procedures and steps are documented.

*           Develop customer relationships and manage RFP Review, Customers and Product Testing

Relevant Experience & Educational qualifications

*           Experienced Research and Development Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the food industry.

*           Skilled in Research and Development (R&D), Quality Control, Statistics, and Nutrition.

*           Strong research professional with a Master's degree.

*           Fluent in both spoken and written Japanese, as regular communication with Japan, Head office and clients are required
