Sales Engineer

An Order Processor -- Product (OPP) is responsible for the technical processing and the support (before and after commissioning) of all inquiries and orders of designated customers. The OPP is particularly responsible for the technical accuracy of all offers and orders of his / her designated OEM customers.

Operative Tasks: 

• Advising customers in regard to all technical inquiries relating to the dedicated product range, with specialized support from specialized departments where necessary  (e.g. in regard to substantive processing or system support).

• Interpreting, clarifying and realizing customer specifications for offers and orders, taking into account the delivery spectrum. Early review of technical feasibility and cost effectiveness of customer-specific special designs through initialization of relevant processes

• Compiling, analyzing (technically) and, in coordination with the SOA, sending offers and order confirmations for products, components, parts and services for designated customers. The OPP is authorized to set prices in regard to individual offers and orders up to specified limits or reporting lines

• Entering customer orders and service assignments for internal processing and planning. Coordinating, scheduling and monitoring of progress during processing / implementation.

• Assisting with and monitoring delivery and invoicing.

• Providing technical support and after-sales services to designated OEMs / customers .  Processing of complaints and disruptions, including problem assessment, implementation of necessary actions, follow-up and correspondence with technical support from specialized departments where necessary  (e.g. in regard to substantive processing or system support).\

Additional Tasks:

• Technical support (substantive processing, system support) for an OPS.

• Consult subsidiaries and colleagues within the MR group in technical affairs and -clarification incl. preparation and implementation of technical trainings relating to the subsidiaries product range (esp. OPx and ASMs at subsidiaries).

• Visit subsidiaries and customers in coordination with the sales network.

• Assisting with and / or managing internal and intra-divisional projects.

• Technical analysis of offers and order confirmations in OPP area => Quality Gate. 

Requirements Education

• Engineering degree or technician with appropriate experience level. 

• Specialization in electrical engineering. 

• Experience Experience in energy technology · Basic knowledge of the machine construction industry
