Senior CNC Machinist

Job Description

• Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts from machines.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Set up CNC machines, including selecting and loading appropriate tools and fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
• Program CNC machines using G-code and M-code to meet design specifications.
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Document and report deviations from specifications to supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to quality and compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; or certification in CNC machining is preferred.
• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and operation.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools and equipment.
• Ability to perform basic math and understand geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to [weight] pounds as required.
