Senior Engineer, Advance Quality

We are looking for a Senior Engineer, Advance Quality for a multinational client within the Automotive Manufacturing industry.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and drive Build-in Quality (BIQ) initiatives for new product introduction (NPI) to ensure quality is embedded throughout the product development and manufacturing process.

• Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving activities arising from validation failures, production builds, and manufacturing observations, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented.

• Manage Engineering Change communications and coordinate Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions with customers from approval through implementation.

• Gather and translate customer-specific requirements into quality planning documents, including DFMEA, PFMEA, and Control Plans.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product quality improvements by providing technical guidance on Quality Engineering (QE) tools and methodologies.

• Perform Quality System Audits and Line Side Reviews (LSR) to verify quality processes and controls are established and effective prior to PPAP builds.

• Support manufacturing operations in ensuring products consistently meet established quality standards, including reliability, performance, and usability requirements.

• Develop, implement, and monitor manufacturing quality metrics, leading improvement initiatives to achieve departmental and plant quality objectives.

• Support the achievement of plant and departmental cost, quality, and operational performance targets.

• Drive the implementation of lessons learned across manufacturing operations and new product development projects to enhance product and process quality.

• Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects through process standardization, functional excellence, and implementation of innovative improvement initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

• Possess Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Product Design Engineering, or a manufacturing environment, preferably within the automotive industry.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience in structured root cause analysis methodologies.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

• Good understanding of quality planning tools, including FMEA and Control Plans.

• Experience with statistical analysis techniques, quality improvement tools, and the Product Development Lifecycle is preferred.

• Professional certifications such as Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), Six Sigma Black Belt, or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) will be an added advantage.
