Job summary

The Spare Part Store Keeper; leads spare part store management, receiving, storing, recording and issuing of spare parts as per procedures; assumes custodial responsibility and accountability for received goods; tasks periodic, annual inventory and as required.

Responsibilities

1. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all items in the store, including incoming and outgoing products.
2. Stock Control: Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
3. Receiving and Inspection: Receive deliveries, inspect incoming products for quality and accuracy, and ensure they match purchase orders.
4. Storage and Organization: Properly store and label products in designated locations to ensure easy access and efficient retrieval.
5. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products are stored and handled in compliance with safety and quality standards.
6. Documentation: Keep detailed records of all transactions, including receipts, invoices, and inventory counts.
7. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, stock turnover rates, and any discrepancies or issues.
8. Maintenance: Keep the store clean and organized, including performing routine maintenance tasks as needed.
